A Foolish Stag:
All That Glitters is Not Gold:
A stag went to a stream to drink water. The water was very clear. Everything could be seen in it. When he was drinking water suddenly he saw his own reflection in the water.
He felt proud his beautiful horns. When he looked at his legs, he felt sorry and hated his thin legs. In the meanwhile, he heard the some barking of some hounds. He ran for his life.
He ran fast and left the hounds far behind. Now he was passing through thick forest. As he was crossing thick bushes, his horns were caught in the bushes. He tried his best to free himself but failed.
He stood helpless. He was cursing his beautiful horns. In
no time, the hounds came there. Meanwhile, the hounds caught up and attacked
him, tearing him into pieces. His ugly legs helped him but his beautiful horns
caused his death.
